After the match, Indian player Nitish expressed his joy over the team’s success and shared his hopes for a strong playoff push. “We focused on our game and it paid off. Currently, SRH is in eighth place in the IPL 2025 standings with six points after nine matches, while CSK sits at the bottom with four points from nine games. This also marked CSK’s fourth straight defeat at Chepauk, tying their 2008 and 2012 seasons for the most losses at home in a single season. In both 2008 and 2012, they suffered four home defeats.
